Help Still shot in video mode disappears

I wanted to take a still shot while taking video, but discovered the small camera icon in the corner was missing. It only displays when Anti-Shake is Off. When I have Anti-Shake On, the ability to take a still photo during video is removed.
Is this normal? Any fixes? thanks

It is normal, as for fixes. Well since that is how it is supposed to be you may need to look for a third party camera app that allows it that is, if there is one.
