I have the Original Droid. I love it, it's solid as a rock, reliable, and legendary; but can't wait next year (April) to upgrade to something better. I want a big screen (4.3" or more), dual core (or possibly more, by then), no more physical keyboard, 4G LTE, all the usual stuff. I love browsing, facebook, email, texting, take pictures/videos, play a few games etc, nothing crazy, haven't even rooted. I don't care if it's AmoLED (though they are beautiful...must stare...), or QHD, Pentile, or whatever. As long as it's as nice as my display, but much bigger, I could care less, and I WILL NEVER get another non-glare screen protector, talk about ruining the fun!
However, I've come to find out mine is a stock/unlocked/UI-Free phone, and I want one like it. Prime looks good, but with the Droid HD, and Droid Razr, do any of those look like they will be plain Android, without anything else added? It seems to be I like it better. Really, I wish the Photon was on Verizon, I would get it in a heartbeat, it's more my taste than the Bionic, though it's pretty awesome. Oh and if the Photon isn't what I'm describing that I want, it's ok. What I really mean is, take out the wimax, and replace it with LTE, keep the FM tuner and world phone specs, and I'd practically do anything for it!
Anyhow, just curious what's coming out that's stock without anything added.
Also, which "Droid" besides the original fits that description? It wasn't long ago that I realized the difference between a "Droid" and an "Android", and even more recently the difference between an unlocked, pure Android "Droid" and any other "Droid".
If I'm screwing up terms or not using the right ones for the right thing, please correct me.
Thanks all!
