Root stock backup?

ok my 14 year old daughter desided to buy a Triumph through someone on craigslist. The person selling her the phone left out the fact that it has been unlocked (I assume, since it has superuser on it). It has a few problems FC'ing, running generally slow, and the battery life sucks (specially compaired to my LG OV). I've gone into recovery to see if there was a stock imaged backed up on it so I can at least get the original programming that came on the phone, but of course, no back up to be found. So, what I'm wondering is, if anyone here has a stock factory image they can send me so I can get this thing back to the same programming it had from the store (other than being unlocked). Or, can anyone point me to the closest to factory ROM that is 100% stable, finished, and ready to go for this phone?

Also, while I'm at it, since its unlocked anyways, I am going to partition her card and put in link2sd on it. does that work the same way on the Triumph as it does on my LG OV?

I would also suggest YouTube if you've never attempted anything like this, there's a member who has a channel I can't remember if its minus5252 or minus5353, but he has some nice videos that actually show you what to do


And there are some custom Roms that would give you better things like battery life and such but the phone must he stock to activate, then you can load a custom rom like MTDev-CM7, has much better battery then stock and basically everything but the micro HDMI is working
