Help stock battery indicator

hey guys. my stock battery indicator, the one that is at the top right of the screen reads kind of funny. when it drops to 90% the indicator drops a fraction. when it drops to 80%, another fraction of the green bar drops. when it drops to 70, 60 and even 50 the green bar doesnt drop at all. it says in the 80% position and green, until it hits 40%.

is everyones razrs battery indicator like this, or is my faulty? thanks

That's normal.

That's normal.

much appreciated, no need for me to concern over that then.

also, do you know if its normal for the razr to get hot while using 4g? my phone and my brothers get hot during 4g upload and download. for instance, when i surf this website for 10-15min (without the app) my phone gets VERY hot. thanks

try circle battery...works great, can out the widget right on your home page.

I too notice that the stock battery icon is not calibrated very well. It always displays HIGHER than actual. When my circle battery widget shows around 80%, the stock icon shows full. And when circle shows around 20%, stock shows half.

It's not a big deal to me, but just know that it's not very accurate.

Circle batter widget displays the battery in 1% increments. Add the widget to one of the home screens. You can also customize the size and colors for everything such as when charging, when fully charged, when below a set % of your choosing. Great little app.

many thanks everyone. as long as my stock indicator isnt broken, thats all i was worried about.

i may search the app store for a batter app, it sounds like a good idea

I also had a question about the stock BI, is there anyway to remove it? I downloaded another one and theyre both in the notification bar. I just though it lookeda little funny and when i dont really pay attention i check the stock BI and its shows pretty full when i look at the one i downloaded it says its down past half.

No, you cannot get rid of the stock battery icon but you can probably turn off the notification for the battery app you downloaded/installed.

By the way, I have found the app "Tiny Battery Widget" works very good with the Razr.

I've been using the battery circle because of the 1% increments. It doesn't appear to use any extra battery life but if I'm wrong about this I'd be grateful to know.
