Root stock lock screen

I'm not sure I understand the question. Which stock lock screen are you referring to? As far as I'm aware, CM10.1 uses an ASOP lockscreen.

sorry about that, the one where you can touch anywhere on the screen and open like a little circle and you see what's " behind the lock screen" obviously not a big deal at all, just curious.
 
That would be google search you need to have added IIRC. It may not be part of the gapps package so you may need to download it manually. You also need to not have any pin lock activated to use it.

IM guessing hes referring to the lg lockscreen. Which is only avaliable on a stock based rom
 
Oh, if that is what he's looking for, then he would need the LockScreen.apk and LockScreenSettings.apk from a stock ICS rom. I'm not sure if it would play nice with CM, but I know removing that .apk file removed the lock screen from ICS and you could get at the default lock screen underneath. It would probably get a bit of rigging, but it should be do-able.
 
Theres a patch to integrate and manipulate the lg lockscreen prior to compilation in cm or aokp. Same as other lockscreen mods like blackberry and xperia. This would need to be done by tdm or someone with the sources of the roms at close hand.
