Root Stock Nandroid Backup

Does anyone happen to have a stock nandroid backup? I just picked up my old bricked droid and I'm seeing if I can bring it back to life but I don't have any backups or anything. Thanks!

Well since you also asked in a thread the same question you asked in the PM you sent me I answer here.

Yes, I do have quite a collection of files, however I don't think I have a stock nandroid backup. I do have some of the stock OTA files that can be flashed via recovery. Check the links in my sig, and mainly my guides, I have several that might be of use to you.

The nice thing about the A855 is that it is almost unbrickable. The only way it becomes totalled is if you dro9p it in water or the hardware actually fails. The only other case is if it gets unplugged while flashing a .sbf file with RSD Lite, but that _might_ still be fixed by trying it again.

good luck

Thanks for the quick reply.
The good news: the phone is working again
The bad news: the touch screen doesn't work now. It shows everything and works when using the keyboard, but it doesn't respond when you touch it.

The keyboard, power button, volume key, and camera button all work. Just not the screen.

And before you replied, I actually tried both bugless beast and stock deodexed from Peter Alfonso's site. They both had the screen issue as well.

So I'm not really sure what to do now lol

Well I hate to say it, but I think your old Droid has had a hardware failure. I can't remember the exact part name, but some thing about a digitizer comes to mind.
