I need help booting into stock recovery, I did the volume key down and power combination but it just takes me to reset screen.

Yea, but I cant figure out how to boot into stock recovery, because hard reset doesnt work. Phone gets stuck on LG logo screen.

Your posting on the rooting section so I'm assuming you only rooted and skipped TWRP install...you can try to boot into recovery via download mode using the COM commands you used to root the device.

Actually I don't see how booting into stock recovery will help you, it's going to use the same protocol to factory reset the device. You may as well install TWRP in download mode and either do a adb zip transfer of the only stock rom available or try and see if mtp protocol works in twrp.

I'm not sure what your trying to say...JTAG software is only meant to flash recovered device specific values such as imei, serial, etc. This is just a flash tool it a sense, it doesn't do nothing more than that. I don't think it would even use .kdz file formats.

LG electronics develops their firmware, no one does it for them. They host kdz (that they've made) packages for supported/was supported phones on their servers. There's no kdz for the e2nam (American variant). If your is from another country then you may be in luck.
