OK, a strange one here.
First of all, hi, I'm new
I've somehow managed to delete my stock SMS app.
I was having trouble downloading a picture someone had sent me as an MMS and read that a third party SMS app would be preferable. So, I downloaded Go SMS Pro. All was fine until I tried to set it a my default SMS app. I was looking for a way to make the SMS icon at the bottom of my home screens to open Go SMS instead of Messaging, when I hit disable on three messaging app under the apps in settings. My phone had a but of a hissy fit and now Messaging is missing completely. It's gone from my home screens, and doesn't now appear in the apps list anywhere.
My phone is NOT rooted, and is running 4.0.4. I got the phone from Carphone Warehouse when it was running 2.3 and upgraded via Kies ages ago.
Any reason you guys can think of as to why hitting disable might delete it, and also how I might get it back?
