Root Stock themed Sense 3.6 ROM?

I just wanted to know if there was a fully stock themed sense 3.6 ROM. I don't like Harmonia and Midnight because of the battery icon. I want a ROM just like those, but they aren't completely "stock".

Just download JMZ's stock rom and add the tweaks you want to it. It's on here. Just search for it.

Or you can download leedroid tweaks and setup the way the rom looks to your liking.

So to say, for LeeDroid tweaks, is it just an .apk? It would be a lot easier if I could install MidnightROM and just add in the stock systemUI and framework res but I'm not sure that would work.

What is it that you don't like about the stock ROM?

If you just want to remove bloat there are tools like ROM Cleaner to delete things that aren't necessary. MeanROM ICS is pretty much stock except for a custom battery icon and 4x5 rosie (homescreens), and there are mods to revert those to stock, but you would have to customize it for Virgin Mobile MMS and other brand differences. MeanROM ICS also has performance and battery tweaks but those are not visible changes.

I like the bare stock UI, but I want to run MidnightROM. How can I just install the stock UI to that ROM?

Let me ask the opposite then. ;)

What is it you like about the Midnight ROM that the stock ROM doesn't have? When you run a custom ROM you usually get the developer's theme preferences along with the other enhancements, so you might be better off customizing the VM stock ROM yourself.

Well, Midnight has a lot of performance optimizations, tweaks, addons and such. I figured it would be easier to just revert to the stock UI rather than adding all of the tweaks that Midnight includes.

Easier yes, and less frustrating. I fail at cooking roms, what u want is exaclty what ive been trying to do. Stock rooted rom, tweaked to hell with the mods/addons I like. Not easy :(

In that case, you are better off following subzero's advice and customizing what you can using the Leedroid Tweaks app built into that ROM. I just checked the features list and a lot of them would affect the framework and resource files of the ROM, which means it would be difficult to restore the UI to the stock version.

You are probably going to have to decide if you want to run a custom ROM and live with the UI changes the developer has made, or dig into things a little deeper and customize the stock ROM yourself.

Good luck!
