Help Stock Z froze during app install, won't boot after pulling battery

Porost

Lurker
I decided to do a factory reset of my Z. I went to hboot menu by holding volume down on boot and selected FACTORY RESET.

It booted up normally and started installing apps. Then it froze. I gave it a few minutes and then pulled the battery.

Now it won't boot - the HTC splash screen stays on forever. I can still go to the hboot menu.

Phone is 100% stock and unrooted.

Info from hboot:

VISION PUT SHIP S-ON
HBOOT-0.85.0013
MICROP-0425
RADIO-26.10.04.03_M
eMMC-boot

Also I don't think this is relevant but I replaced the battery immediately before this happened. It booted up fine on the new battery, and then this happened.

I'm not sure what went wrong but I'm guessing you did not get your factory reset complete. If you still have access to the option, I believe I would start that process again. I hope this helps. Good luck
