Help STOP automatic update of date and time

Hi,

I have a Galaxy light T399. I like to manually set the date and time to a time zone I am not in. Simple, just uncheck all the appropriate boxes, no problem there. Until I turn off the phone. Every time I turn it back on, it re-checks all the automatic settings for date and time. Any way to stop this annoying behavior?

If you're rooted you can install the XPosed framework and there's a couple modules that put a second time zone in your status bar. I don't know if there's a way to remove the automatic one and only display the second. I know there's modules that remove the clock, so it's possible that you could combine the two, but often modules that modify the same thing don't play nicely together.
