Root stop future ota updates on rooted jb

searching threads and found answer for stopping ota update for ics but not for future jb updates. is it the same or is it different? maybe there won't be anymore updates to worry about but I dont want to lose root.

btw don't even have this phone yet, e-bayed it and am trying to get knowledge on it before, so I can play when it gets here.

You're rooted (or will be) so Titanium Backup will work, and you can use it to freeze the update app.

Hello and welcome to the forums. If your rooted and running a rom , mod or custom rom you already have done it all. Now if your rooted and still running the os you can freeze the update app and remove a lib file called ota.

thank you for quick answer, now rooted , titanium install and back up, and now many frozen bloatware. also installed safe strap and did bu. although I don't know where to find the lib file ota to move or delete it.
