Stop home button from vibrating

Last question from me, at least for tonight. I used the tip on here to enable the home button to do more. I love that, btw, so thank you. I don't like that it vibrates upon touch. Can that be disabled?

Try looking under settings>notification and sound>other sounds. It's an odd place to keep the vibration settings, but you should be able to shut off all vibration and haptic settings.

Thanks. I thought I turned them all off but I'll look again. I even used the tip I found on here to become a developer but didn't see it there either.

I'd stay away from developer mode until you know what your doing first.
You can seriously screw up your phone

Not there either. Just have to live with it since it appears it can't be turned off.

On my Moto Z2 Force the Home button does not vibrate.

I suggest you try running in Safe Mode ...

Are you perhaps talking about the fingerprint reading pad and not the home button? I can find no way to make the fingerprint pad not vibrate on touch.

Yes. I have mine set as a home button. I think I got the tip to do that from this forum but I've looked at so many now that I can't remember lol. And you're correct, there's no way to stop that from vibrating.
