stop or ignore ota updates

I have a rooted phone so I don't want any ota updates. How can i stop or ignore them automatically. Prevent the fat finger.
I did a search for 'stop ota updates' and didn't see anything.

have you tried unchecking the "Scheduled Check" box under the HTC Software Update section?

thanks! I didn't think to click on the htc software upgrade button. I thought that would check for software upgrades...haha
