Help Stop photo scrolling on wallpaper?

Anyone know a way (or app) to stop the scrolling wallpaper? Even if I put a photo on my phone at the right resolution for the screen, it makes me crop it to fit the phone for home screen scrolling. Sometimes I like that, but sometimes I just want the apps/widgets to pull over without the picture moving. Anyone know a way?

I know it is possible. There is a Live Wallpaper out there (Shake them all) that allows you to set custom images in background with the little droids and when you swipe to other screens, the image stays stationary.

You can always download this, set the number of droids to 1 and size to 20% and you can have the stationary BG image with one little droid that floats around.

Other than that, I have not seen anything.

Somehow I did the same thing with my Louis Vitton theme, the LV keeps moving every time I flip the page and its messing up the way I set up my homescreen. I know that it was an option, I'm gonna keep trying to find a way to undo it. But anyone can help... its greatly appreciated.

Hi there, this had been bugging me for ages.. found an app called wallpaper wizzardri in the Android market and it is brilliant! You can choose static or scrolling wallpapers and it works for gallery images too! Hope this helps..

If you have launcherpro there is an option to disable the wallpaper from scrolling, Preferences->Appearance Settings->Disable wallpaper scrolling

One annoying problem with this app is that a balloon message pops up saying "wallpaper updated" every time you flip the phone to horizontal, or back to vertical. Very annoying. I wish there was a way to suppress that. Otherwise it does a good job at preventing my wallpaper from scrolling.
