Help Stop system sounds outputing through bluetooth headset

Hi all,

I've just got a bluetooth headset that I'm using for music and calls on my galaxy note 3. It's connected and working fine but I've noticed that when it's connected all the system sounds, including the screen tap sound effect, come through the headset.

I found that in the device settings, sounds and notifications section I've got volume sliders for Ringtone, Media, Notifications and System, so when my headset connects I'd like everything covered by Ringtone, Media and Notifications to be directed to the headset, and System to either output through the speaker like normal or just be muted (i tried turning the volume slider all the way down and it still plays the sound just very quietly, this isn't too bad but say I paused my music to concentrate every time I touch the screen it's going to drain the headsets battery by turning on the speakers for a few seconds of silence)

In the bluetooth settings for the headset I can set it's profile to either Calls or Media or both but don't see any other options, could anyone recommend an app that gives more control or any other means of muting/redirecting system sounds?

thanks for any help.
