Stop the New Update

Does anyone know how I can stop the update from running?

I'm rooted and the update just runs into CWM every time and kills the batt.

Looked around but couldn't find anything specific to the Spec.

Not certain of the name of the app, but freezing the software updater in Titanium should do the trick.

Situation 3. If you are on the new version (6.0.1.0 or higher) of CWM, you can skip the boot loop fix. The OTA update blocker works the same on all the roms I've seen out so far for the Spectrum.

MrB confirmed the ota blocker works to block v7 ota

Ended up using Anttek to freeze Updater. It was a free app.

Then went on to update with the steps on the help page.
