Stopped producing sound

My HTC one S Carrier T-Mobile Stopped producing sound it doesn't produce any sound no notificacion not even when I'm calling and this is very stressing what can I do ??
 
It could be a bad speaker, a bad earphone jack, something as simple as gum or glue gumming up the holes - or a more expensive repair. Someone has to diagnose it and determine what the problem is.
