Stopping Google Talk gtalkservices?

I do not use Google Talk, so I am looking to see if it could be permenatly disabled. Everytime I stop it with a task manager or task killer, it comes back to life. Any help?
 
Have you stoped it via the services option in settings?

Settings>application settings>running services.

Ive killed it form there and it only comes back on a restart
