Stops playing at home screen turn-off

Hi, I have a Galaxy A7 with Android Pie.
When I'm playing music and leave the mobile aside the music stops playing when the home screen turns off.
Is there a way to fix this?

What music app are you using?

Most music apps should keep playing if the screen goes off. Are you using YouTube for music, because that does stop playing when the screen goes off, unless you're subscribed to YT Premium.

You can turn on background data from power saving settings. It will let you have many of the power saving benefits but keep streaming our music.
