Help Stops ringing after half second

My Dinc sometimes stops ringing after half a second with incoming calls. I'd hear a very short ring and then it just stops ringing or vibrating. I just noticed this today after missing several calls with my phone with me in my pocket. This problems comes on randomly and goes away in a similar fashion. I suspect this is happening with the alarm also as i've failed to wake up on time on a couple of occasions wondering why the alarm didn't wake me up (which it always does it if goes off). Has anyone noticed this problem? I've had several issues with this phone but this has the potential to become an absolute deal breaker. Please help!

Something might be interfering with your notifications...possibly an app

There is a turn down ringer when moved option somewhere. So that when you pick up the phone the ringer turns down.

Maybe thats turned on and the movement of being in your pocket made it turn down.
