Help Stops sending and receiving/battery cover message

I have started having problems with my phone just stopping sending and receiving anything (emails, calls, messages, everything) then i have to restart it to get it working. I also have recently started to see a message telling me i need to shut the back cover over the battery, when it's already firmly in place. Have no idea if this is fixable or just the phone going bad...Help!

I had a phone that wouldnt do anything too, turns out the chip was bad. Once i replaced it, never had that problem again. Look into tuning off notifications in the phone settings since you know the covers are tight.
