Help Storage Problem

[KpopB2AST]

I have storage problems on my HTC desire816, it says that the thumbnail data cache is 7 gigs data but when I erase it, I only have 1 g of data available still, it's confusing, how can I use the data thumbnails use

The thumbnail is not really taking up that space(that's what I think, maybe it's an android bug).

From looking up the specs for the desire 816 it says it has 8GB storage with 4.2GB for the user, the thumbnail wouldn't be able to take up that much space if most is already being used... unless it's on your external storage but it's probably not.
