Help Storage question S5 Neo

Hi. Samsung S5 Neo.

I'm confused about my space. my storage says I have 10.89GB out of 16GB internal storage. But on Xplore the disk map says I have only used 2.86GB. Which is right? Thanks

The OS itself usually takes around 5GB of space on your internal memory.

Thanks, this is what I get. Is it me or am I gettign a few different results?

This is a simpler storage map of my Lenovo K3 Note

Total internal memory : 16gb

OS reserved space : 4.81gb

User usable space : 12.12gb

User used space : 7.31gb

You should notice the 11.19gb figures instead of 12.12gb mentioned above, so almost 1gb has disappeared, right?

There is no way you could have an exact result like 2 + 2 = 4 because apps generate cache files and update data files all the time while running.

Thanks, I think the fact that the OS takes up around 5GB is probably what has thrown me.
