Root Storage Questions

The first thing I did when I got this was buy a micro SD and change a system setting enabling it as default.

Since then, I've wondered if the built in storage is still usable? I can browse it and it is empty.

I tried to install a game one day with 8 gig free on my SD and the install failed from lack of space. what's happening? Any way to reclaim part of that gig for I assume System?

Yes, you can place music anywhere and it will be recognized

Is it possible to Repartition the internal storage?

and redistribute space to System from that int SD space?

Or do an overlay and extend into it? I want my gig of "storage-only" to hold apps.

Unfortunately no...we are stuck with the partition layout Huawei gave us.
