Storage Space Issues - From Store, and on SD Card

Have two issues, don't know if they're related.

I'm on a Samsung Galaxy Note, running ICS.

Been receiving lots of download errors when auto-updating apps... Generally all "923" errors, which appears to be a lack of space.

I've purged lots of apps, cleared the cache, and I am showing I have a total of 1.97GB on the phone, and 494.38MB available... That should handle whatever temporary buffering any of my apps needs whilst downloading, I would imagine.

I have also tried moving some apps to the SD card. Both "manually" and by letting the app "AppMgr III" attempt for me. I always (always, always) receive a message: "Unable to move app. Not enough storage space." I have 9.85GB total on my SD card, and am showing 4.18GB available. I know I need to clear some pictures off, but you'd think I could move Astro over!?!?

So what say you, Internet?

Are these related?

How do I fix either? Both?

Thanks

Well I'm on a galaxy tab 2,but until the recent update, storing apps to the sd card wasn't possible. And the storage space is partitioned, so even if there is space, it can't necessarily be used for apps.

Sounds like something weird with the sd card. you should definately be able to move apps to it.
