Sorry if this has been discussed before but I have a 32 gig touchpad running android 4.0.4 that it says I have plenty of storage space 18.80 gig on sd card but only 205 mb internal storage. My problem is when I try to install apps it says there is not enough space to install it. Is there an easy fix for this?

What script did you run to install 4.04? (Acme 2, Acme 3, Acme 4)?

Did you resize your system partition by running a script?

Acme 4 will resize your system folder, as well other scripts.

Correct me if I"m wrong here, user apps go in the /data partition, not the /system. ACMEInstaller's of different flavors set the /system to different sizes.:D

I think he has installed too many apps from the Play Store or side load.

I am not positive but I think it was ACME 3. Anyhow is there no way change the partition inside IceCreamSandwich?

NT is probably on the best track. The problem could also be caused by manually moving apps to sdcard.

Which partition size? Be specific. We can't help you if you talk in generalities. :D

Changing partition sizes has nothing to do with the Rom. That is done before the Rom is installed. If you used ACME3, then your /system is around 400Mb. But if you are installing a lot of apps from the Play Store, then your /data partition is almost full and that is why you are most likely getting that message. Some folks solve that by moving apps to their SD card. BUT, if one moves too many, then they run into the 50 app limit and their SD card starts unmounting.

That is it exactly so thanks for the tip. I just assumed that the sd card was used to store apps as well and I heard about the 50 app limit but will have to live with it for now.
