Has anyone found the Merge in any stores yet, i'm in Detroit and was hoping to try my hand at one.

It looks like the report last week of its release were inaccurate, i can't find it anywhere. I hope it does come out as it would make a great phone for my wife. My Incredible is too modded up to replace yet.

It wont be in any direct retail stores. Only authorized dealers or third-party sellers like Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Target, etc. Not even at vzw.com

Searching on Long Island, NY myself. Nobody has even heard of it

Anybody have any luck finding the Merge anywhere? I've looked at all the usual suspects (BB, Target, Wal-Mart, Radio Shack) and haven'e seen it. In fact, none of these places has even heard of it.

Maybe VZW just made a phantom announcement to shut up all the folks on the forums who were looking for it to be released
