Hi all. I think it is finally time I pull the trigger and go with the Maxx. I am coming from a Touch Pro 2 and thought I needed the keyboard, but the one on the Droid 4 was not as good to me as the old one and I am still hesitent on the Nexus, so I think this is the way to go and am going to order one today. Anyways, since this will be my first Andriod phone, I am wondering about storing contacts.
On my old TP2, I have a couple POP mail accounts on there and I also sync to the Exchange server at my work. By doing that, I notice it also syncs all the contacts and calendar so whenever I enter new contacts or calendar entries on the phone, it also saves them at work. I guess this is not a big deal, but I am wondering if there is a different way to do this on Android. Can I still sync with the Exchange server at work, thus having access to the global address book there and the calendar, and still have my own personal contacts and calendar saved on the phone, or on a google account or something? It is nice to have the Exchange calendar so when I get emails for appointments I can accept then and they go right in the calendar, but I would also like to keep personal stuff separate if I can. I am just wondering how people do this usually.
