Help Strange alarm

I have an unidentified alarm going off just about every morning at 4:02 am. I thought it might be some kind of "full battery" warning or something like that, so I disconnected the charger last night and it still did it. There is NO screen notification of any kind associated with this sound and I see nothing on the notification history. The alarm itself is a rather quiet, steady beeping for about 10 seconds. I get up early anyway (normal alarm at 4:30) but don't like being awakened a half hour earlier.

Anybody else encountered this? Would SURE appreciate some help!

Try going into your settings then Application Manager. Switch to ALL apps and find the Clock app and do a Force Stop then Clear Cache and maybe clear data and reboot your phone. Maybe it's the ghost of a long ago alarm you set.

I will certainly do that. Thanks.

By the way, looking at Application Manager, I see Clock 7.80MB, Clock (digital) 80KB and another Clock (digital) 104KB. Not sure the difference but I did what you said to all of them.

Sad to report that the sound returned at (wait for it)... 4:02 am today. Apparently I have NOT beaten it yet. Gonna pay a visit to the local AT&T store this week and seek answers there but of course am still very open to suggestions here.

Update: I stopped into the AT&T store and (as somewhat expected) the folks there had no idea WHY it was happening. Their advice to me was to do a factory reset, which I really didn't want to do. Instead, I decided to trick my phone. I set a SILENT alarm for 3:02 am each morning. Seems to have fixed the problem. I believe that alarm is taking precedence over the ding ding thing that's been happening. This is only a patch and obviously didn't get at the root of the problem but hopefully will help someone who has a "regularly scheduled" sound happening.
