Help strange behavior using Netflix sometimes

I watch Netflix frequently on the Exhibit II 4G, using 4G data and Wifi. In either case, when I'm on the treadmill after a while it'll freeze up, act like it's rebooting (but doesn't go through the splash screens), and when it comes back the screen has a blue tint and flickering and is unwatchable. After reboot and in the Home screen, the blue is not there but can clearly see some flickering, maybe in the backlight lamp. This happened 2 or 3 times over a few days. Prior to using on the treadmill, it has never happened. Shutting the phone off then back on still shows flickering. In Netflix it's still tinted blue.

At first I thought it was the vibration from the treadmill, then it happened on an elliptical, so I thought maybe it's the elctronic interference from the exercise equipment control panel where I put the phone. Then it happened in a stationary car once (but just once). I'm wonder if anyone has encountered this. It's not rooted (haven't figured out how). Is it possible it's from heat? But why not on other occasions when it's not on an exercise machine??

Yes! I have the same problem. I used to use the Netflix app constantly, but after an update sometime late Fall 2012 or early 2013, it's been nearly useless. It's exactly as you describe -- it will start out fine for a few minutes, but then it'll appear to reboot or crash. Then, when it's restarted, the screen image flickers blue and appears to have blue/white strobing lines interlaced with the image as it plays. The strobing blue lines sometimes persist even after the app is closed (as in, my menu screen and anything else I view flickers the same way). Sometimes a still from whatever I was watching is frozen on screen, but with my menu bar showing. Often it simply won't play, and the only way to get it back to normal is a hard reboot.

Anyway, yes - it's on the Exhibit 2 4G. It started after an update sometime in the last year, and it's not associated with exercise machines or other mechanical stresses.

So far I've not found any solution. I keep hoping that it will be resolved in an update, but so far no luck. Does anyone know if there's a fix?
