I love my Galaxy S3 (Sprint version). It's stock and running the latest update (VPL13).
I noticed though that recently I lost my internet (stock) browser sessions. I had about 6 tabs/sessions that had persisted since I've had the phone in July, and has survived every update. I believe I even had seen the various tabs as late as last week. But this morning I was surprised to find that the tabs were all gone, back to the single tab that the browser opened.
In addition, I had used the phone for SMS, but when I opened it up later I found out that the file browser was open and it was showing the SD card. I theorize it possible (but doubtful) that I had the phone in my pocket, with the screen facing my thigh, and somehow the screen was not locked, and my thigh randomly hit the app button and then randomly the file browser...but I'm not positive that is what happened.
Of course concern about malware is another concern, but I only have installed 20-25 popular apps from Google Play store, and I have LookOut anti-virus installed which I used to scan the apps, and there appears to be no malware present on the S3.
So a couple of strange things that happened on my S3. Anything like this happen to your S3?
These phones are now as powerful as computers so random things could happen that appear strange. For instance my Dell laptop has an automatic light sensor that dims my screen automatically even though I shut it off, and it seems to turn back on after every reboot.
