Help Strange Market behaviouor

splash2

Lurker
I have Forever Map installed on my HTC Wildfire. On Android Market it was free. If I try to inistall it to my Superpad Android 2.2 tablet the app is listed as $1.99 and, if I click th button to buy it en error is generated [too quick to note] and Android Market closes. This is frustrating because I really would like to see this runninng on a 10.2 inch screen.

Any suggested work-arounds?

Copy it from your HTC to your FT3.

FT3 are not licensed to use google app store, the China tablet makers will never pay google anything, so google are fighting back by making it more difficult for protected apps & paid for apps and most others apps to be got onto, or even seen on, the FT3.

So you have to find alternate ways.

Titanium Backup on both devices works well. Make the backup on the HTC, copy the backup files to the FT3 (FTP over wifi, copy the data off the SD card from card a to card b, dropbox - there are various ways to achieve this), run TB on the FT3 - restore the app.

Another option is to use a file manager to create a backup apk file from the original location, copy the apk file to your FT3 - install, Astro File Manager can do this amongst many others.

If you do get the forevermap.apk file perhaps you could upload it and post a link?
