Strange thread link in X

perhaps pm the user who started the thread and ask if he did something different. The user who started the thread has been around a while(has 1,500 posts) so i'm guessing whatever happened wasn't intentional. Still though, THAT is weird as hell looking. I wasn't sure if that was a link IN the thread or what, went to the X section and found that thread, clicked it and sure enough, that is what the thread looks like.
Maybe it's because the same story is on phandroid and he linked to a different site??

So it was a vBulletin problem of some sort?
