Strange Trends of the 2010's

People walking, people shopping, even people driving with their faces so buried in their phones that they can't see where they are going. PC's and related hardware and software going from half of the electronic section to a mere isle or less. Plastic or electronic money all but replacing hard currency. Cell phones going from a purchase to a major investment. An ever increasing importance of me and less regard for them. The coming of age of the generation of entitlement. This is my take on the last decade.

i used to work retail and man did everyone, especially during the holidays, feel like they are entitled for everything. i'm not sure that was a trend that started in the 2010, but it is sure not going anywhere!!!!!!!!!!!

Wearing pajamas in public like they aren't sleeping clothes.
I saw a young guy in pajama pants walk into a Steakhouse Restaurant

I'm sure that's something that started in China in the 80s, and spread to other countries in the 2010s.

Shanghai is cracking down on its most tenacious fashion trend. In preparation for the 2010 World Expo, the municipal government has launched a campaign to eradicate running red lights and wearing pajamas in public.

For those of you who have not been wowed by the most cosmopolitan of Chinese cities, Shanghai is known for, among other things, its middle-aged women who saunter onto the street in their sleepwear. Some even venture as far as the subway or the shopping mall.

Maybe the US Govt should discourage it as well?
