Hi all,
I have an HTC Desire S that was originally locked to T-Mobile. As I am not contract bound, I decided to switch to GiffGaff (runs on O2-UK). The GiffGaff SIM works perfectly in an iPhone, but when I originally tried to use it with the Desire S, it stated the handset was network locked. As such I used an online company to generate a code and followed their guide to use it -insert new SIM, type in code etc. Whilst the Desire S did say it was successfully unlocked, after trying the GiffGaff SIM and manually selecting O2 UK, I receive the message, "Your SIM does not allow a connection to this network". I tried the GiffGaff SIM back in the aforementioned iPhone and it connected to O2 without any issue. I also reinserted my T-Mobile SIM to the Desire S and it logged onto T-Mobile straight away.
Any help would be most appreciated!
