Root Strangeness with ManU kernel

Yesterday I ran the stock Redux Kernel and had 1% battery usage overnight in 7 hours.
Last night I ran ManU-1.4-GB-HAVS-AXI-128-CFS and got 7% battery usage in 7 hours.

I had lots of little awake times with manU, same as when I've run ManU on other ROMs, where-as with the stock kernel the phone was dead to the world all night.

Any ideas?
Is there something in ManU that keeps waking the phone up?

I'll try the stock kernel tonight again - but I'm away from home all weekend so my phones routine might be different from normal.

I didnt try stock kernel till now. By seeing your stats, may be I should give a try

using manu, got 3% battery usage in 8 hours. (2hours wifi on, 6 hours airplane)

I can't say for sure it's manU waking the phone in the night, normally I would say that's caused by an active app.
But I don't think I installed any new apps yesterday and the fact the usage matches other ROMs I have run with manU... makes me think it's manU.

Will do more testing this weekend - but I have a feeling manU doesn't work as well for me as it seems to with others.

All of my Kernels have been running with powersave CPU settings.

Well been off charge for 10 hours and on 36% and the phone has been given a hammering.
Lots of intertubes, Flow and a couple of albums at full volume and even a couple of reboots.
This is on the stock Redux kernel and very impressed and I'm pretty sure this kernel works better for me than manU.
