Hi, My name is Cary I'm a Linux tragic. I have a Dell Streak with 2.2 Android, my previous phone was a Nokia N900 it is a good O/S but the hardware is typical of late model Nokia's (totally unreliable) I am a Linux administrator & use Kubuntu on my home laptop. So far I am liking my Dell. I also support about 100+ Samsung Galaxy's too!

Rico ANDROID here, joined the STREAkERS as of 3/8. This is my first android phone and absolutely LOVE it. I've been a Windows Mobile user for years where my last phone HTC Tilt2 had features I liked but the phone was not a pleasant experience (locked and sluggish constantly).... The moment i got my hands on the Streak, i found the phone/tab I have been looking for!

Welcome to the Android Forums!

I just purchased the HTC Inspire for 99 bucks. Best buy now has the streak on sale for 39.99. I cant decide if I should return the HTC and go with the streak. My only concern is that the phone is going to be too big for normal use.

Try each phone in the store to get a feel for how it feels in your hands. I think you'll find that while the phone may initially look big, you'll get used to the size rather quickly.

Return the HTC; get the Streak! You'll be glad you did. You are probably already using a bluetooth anyway and would enhance your Streak experience. Whats awesome is you get best of boty 'worlds', having a phone and a tab on one unit

Yea I am going to BB tomorrow to swap. The batt life on the Inspire sucks and that was a big reason I did not get the streak. So I will grab the streak and with the extra cash left over grab an extra batt and the HDMI cable for it. I cant wait to get it should be pretty awsome!!
