I wonder if anyone could help me resolve whether you can stream video over a network via wifi from a Mac onto the Galaxy S2?
I've tried using a few different pieces of software on my Mac - Rivet and PS3MediaServer (can't add links as I'm a noob).
They're both supposedly DLNA compliant Upnp Media Servers and I have no problem watching videos stored on my Mac using my Xbox 360 and PS3.
I can listen to MP3s and view Photos (stored on the Mac) on my GS2 with no problems, but videos don't seem to work. I've tried several different formats (DivX, MP4, FLV etc) in case that was the issue.
The app I'm using on the GS2 is the stock Samsung Allshare, then selecting "Remote device".
Any help gratefully received!
