It's time we find out if the audio problems are with all Moment's or just some.

If you have used any streaming audio apps such as Pandora, Last.fm or the new Slacker Radio, have you experienced regular stuttering?

No issues for me using Pandora while surfing the web.

only stutters I get with pandora are when a notification plays or a call comes in which is completely expected, at least I would expect it.

Satinkzo, it was your post on the other thread that drove me to post this. I know others have complained about the stuttering, but now I'm really curious to know if the problem is limited or more wide-spread.

If it is in fact limited to a handful of people, then we might be able to exchange our phones for new ones that actually work.

I'm pretty sure I'm not experiencing any problems with Pandora. I use it for about an hour at work the last couple days during lunch and have used it on/off since I got the moment.

I've been using it tonight while trying to drain the battery again for the 3rd night in a row (which seems to be helping my battery and teh guage, but that's for the battery thread).

Are the stutters really bad? Does the song just flat out stop? I don't use headphones, just the speaker so if something is not overly obvious I guess I could be missing it.

I usually use stereo bluetooth, but just for kicks, I've been trying it tonight with the built in speaker. In both cases the problems are the same. It also doesn't make a difference if I'm on WiFi or 3G.

The stuttering is the worst with Pandora. It occurs during every song. Usually at the beginning, sometimes in the middle and often when near the end of the song. About half the songs just stop playing about three quarters of the way through. Since getting version 1.1.1, after every song it will first display some album, then play something else and then fix the album info to match what it really played.

I've tried Last.fm and Slacker Radio and while they are both better, there's still occasional stuttering in almost every song or every other song.

Hmmm... If it's that obvious a stutter, I think I would notice it then. I usually stream at work over 3g, but at home, I am using wifi.

I have noticed the album/song info thing though. I guess lets see what others post. I can't believe I'd be a sole exception.

Dunno if my brain is working properly at this hour but I am thinking that wifi does not apply to Pandora if you are using the phone installed app....I may be wrong.

I always get stuttering on Pandora...I havnt tried the others slacker etc yet

I had no problems on the Hero ....so frustrating each device has their share of problems

assuming wifi doesn't apply to the app.... The times that I've run Pandora I haven't heard much, if any, stutter. Unlike with my Instinct which only played continuously while out in an open space.

Wow. Thot I was crazy... yeah, I get a lot of stutter and down right stoppage with Pandora. I was glad the other day when it went all the way thru 2 songs in a row! Lately I cantt get pandora to run at all... app starts and hangs. And this after installing anew (having uninstalled it ). I've even made sure its almost the only thing running. Wish it worked better. Will have to check out slacker and droidlive. Any others? I like the functions within pandora too much to give up tho.

Pandora stutters more than Slacker. Slacker tends to stutter when the song first starts but after that its okay unless I do a lot of things at one time on the phone.

Just a quick follow up... just checked out slacker. Very pandora-esque. Liked it until my bf found net2radio on his pre. After digging around a bit the same app is droidlive on android. I gotta say, its killer! The ui is really retro cool and the quality is amazing!! No stutter or anything! I paid for the pro. $3 is worth it.

And a followup, I apparently did not have version 1.1.1 of pandora cause I got and upgrade alert in the market last night.

Now it stutters when I change the orientation of the phone.

I just downloaded droidlive and it is pretty good. Whatever they are doing to stream the audio is the right way to do it. I'm seeing no stuttering at all, even when browsing the web actively.

I do still like slacker for personally tuned "stations", its stuttering isn't too bad most of the time.

While reviewing ADC2 apps I was given Grooveshark to review. It had some minor bugs but the sound quality was good. I guess we'll be able to add it to the list of streaming music apps soon.

I am using an app called Grooveshark mobile and it plays great! No stutter at all; even when multitasking.

I am testing it through the Android Development Challenge; it should be out soon.
