Just got the Transformer in the UK and i'm loving it !!!

I have a NAS on my home network, Buffalo Linkstation Live 2.0TB, but cannot figure out how to view any of the media from it on my TF. Its DNLA/uPNP certified but the TF just won't see it in MyNet.

Anyone got any idea's how i'm going to achieve this ?

Thanks in Advance

Download upnplay from the market. Then download rockplayer or arcmedia or both to play divx streaming. I use Tversity on an xp computer as my upnp media center. It uses ffshow as the decoder for streaming. Works flawless for all my divx and xvid streaming from my Netgear nas. Problem is mynet usrs only native media player which doesn't support divx. This workaround works for me till Asus updates their mefia player with the codecs for divx and xvid.

Thanks Moparoy but i tried upnplay and it doesnt see the livestation. I know it works as my ps3 see's it fine. Is there a config section to upnplay or does it just list sources automatically ?

Try installing tversity on an xp computer. Use tversity to see your nas. The asus should see tversity thus seeing your nas. I believe ffshow does the decoding and streams it to your tablet thus letting the computer do the decoding and allowing smooth streaming to your tab.

I've ended up using Buffalo Webaccess app and it works fine. Not using DNLA but it gives me access without having to have my PC on. I'll keep an eye on DNLA apps and make sure the Linkstation is configured correctly.

I am glad it worked out for you. My computer is on 24/7. I find tversity is snappy and smooth. Probably from letting my computer do the decoding. Then streamed to my transformer. I can jump anywhere in the movie quickly and the audio sync is always spot on. Just me.
