Streaming Music Options

oh that sucks - sorry to hear. I'm loving Subsonic for the moment, have 12 days left on my trial. If you want to at least experience the product I can give you my info so you can hop on mine - I have about 100 GBs of tunes on there.

I appreciate the offer, but no thanks. Regardless of how small or insignificant an account is, I just can't ever seem to shake the strange and awkward feeling I get while using other peoples accounts for anything.

is there a better music app than Pandora? For the last several days, it say pandora can't connect and I can't seem to get slacker, or last fm radio. Is it my phone? I have a behold 2 that I really don't like. I'm not super phone techy. (would love an Iphone but have t-mobile)

I prefer a something that allows me to directly connect from my phone to my PC instead of having to upload an index of my library onto a server.

Gmote isn't bad but it isn't great, I do not like the folder based browsing and it seems a bit of a hassle to get around with a large amount of folders.

Subsonic seems good but as it has been said, you only get a 30 day trial for the server software.

jukeplayer, I'd use it even tho it is not the phone to pc direct connection that I want, but (and this is a big one), the app is way too unstable.

My current pick is musikcube, very simple app, quick browsing. It still has a way to go before I would deem it the best but it seems better for now. Forgot to mention, musikcube has the ability to view all songs by artist (yes it is tag based) and has a list of songs in the current playlist.
