Help Streaming music

I use my note for my degree work as find it amazing for that purpose but saw on the music player under devices that it sees my pc and now I wonder can I create a network through the WiFi to stream music from pc to save using storage space as I mostly use it in the house.
 
I have turned on all sharing options on my pc but still the player can not access the files? I did this through advanced settings on network and sharing windows 7? Am I missing something simple ?
 
Turn sharing and media streaming on in Windows 7 and the on the Note use the menu on top to scan for nearby devices and once it finds the PC play from it. If it does not work, try ES File Explorer and click top left where it says Local and choose LAN. Then click New and choose Scan. It will scan for all devices on the network and allow you to play music using ES Music or Sound Player.
 
Well I got the music player to see the files no but it's not very intuitive and only lists the songs alphabetically, and u can't perform a search within the device files so with over 4000 songs it's pretty useless lol. A shame really as I like the players interface.

I bet you can find a way to do it. It is just about finding a more comfortable way
 
Im sure your right - msy have to use the skifta stream app ? just wanted to try keep the samsung player - if i find a better way il let you know - thanks for your help
