Help Streaming to Inspire

Lurker
While playing around with my Inspire I discovered that I could stream music files stored on my NAS. Unfortunately, I can't figure out why I can't stream my video (movie) files that I ripped in mkv format (also stored on my NAS). I've searched different posts and tried the media players suggested in the android market to no avail. Not matter what I try, I keep getting a message that reads no application available, yet the application for playing videos is definitely installed. Does anybody have an idea of what could be my problem? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Bandwidth? Streaming music takes a lot less to maintain than streaming a vid, but I'm sure you have N-wifi so yeah...don't know...

I am also interested in this issue. I have tried several DLNA-compliant uPnP servers, but I cannot play ANY format of video streamed this way. This also seems to affect MythDroid (which probably tries to use the default video player). I think there are codec problems on an incomplete DLNA client implementation.
