Help Strlogger redirect and unwanted downloads

While using firefox lately I was being redirected to a website along the lines of strlogger and spam apps were downloading without a prompt, it happened four times from fairly safe sites like news and stuff. I didn't install them obviously!

anyway it was only happening on firefox, so I uninstalled it. Where can I look to check if the problem is fully gone? does anyone else have this problem?

I've used like 5 different antivirus programs and nothing. I Google it and I assume it is related to "starlogger" but all the advice is for windows.

What model phone do you have as Firefox is not compatible with the Motorola A855 Droid 1, the section for which you posted your question.

As far as I know you can do a factory data reset and that should pretty much fully 'clean' your phone, unless you have rooted it.
