I've been disappointed in the flash video streaming performance of the Tab 7.0 plus. There tend to be a lot of skipped frames - like every othere frame is skipped. This doesn't happen with all sites, but tends to particulary be an issue with certain "mature" sights., although not all. Is there anything that can easily be done to improve this. Is flash really that demanding that vben a 1.2 ghz with dual-core and 1g RAM can't keep up? Or is this a lacking of honeycomb - not playing well with flash? Are there any apps that can be downloaded and used to stream the video rather than the adobe flash player?
By tweaking settings on my 512 RAM, 0.8 ghz single core Nook Color, I can get better performance than this. My dual0core Droid Bionic is light years better, running on Gingerbread. I don't particularly want to root, although I will if there is a definitive improvement in this area. ICS will probably play better but who knows if it will ever come.
Any suggestions would be welcome.
