Stuck between apple and android

Damm my 1st android phone a few days ago, now am stuck between which one to use. Most of my games are on apple iphone (been apple since ipod touch 18 months..), but like the feel of Desire S just after a few days . Never would have thought I would be split. just went back to the iphone and felt very weird surfing with one button.

Was comparing speeds of surfing seems similar, but scrolling much better on desire S

Anyone else have this experience of being split?

Yeah I had the same situation when I got my Desire and I have stuck with my Desire - I'm used to it and I love it :)

I like the customisation on the desire s , going to the apple feel old tbh and comparing the two side by side, the iphone seems clunky. Weird

i wouldnt believe this a few days ago. The more I use android, the more i like it, just little features keep popping up.

but was watching iplayer on both to compare, quality on apple much better than desire s.

Also the apple might be slow cause there is like 300 apps install. convinced when more apps are installed the slower it gets (ip4)

Got to agree. I've owned both iPhone 4 and now the Desire S. iOS just seems ancient in comparison. Notifications are poor and don't get me started on iTunes on the PC. What apple does well is the app store and iTunes store on the device. Also the apps themselves are a bit more polished. But these are minor issues for me especially considering you get massively more features with android. Unless Apple bring out a major improvement for future iPhones I don't think I will be switching.

Thinking back a few friends told me about Android and I simply dismissed then as Apple dismissers
Just with under 5 days I think it is great

When u get used to it that is
I have just duscovered widgets ,I love them

What do I like
Pros

Seems so much quicker and screen flicking up and doen faster on Android
Customisation is top notch ,u don't realise what u miss until it is shown to you
The 2 above score a lot of point for me

Cons
think ip4 is better for watching videos
I trust Apple apps more than Android

Looking for good case now

I also have to agree i think if you have an iPhone u can go crazy with apps because of the huge internal space but that means u will have like 300 and the more u have the slower it gets, it really does slow it down... Whereas if you have android you dont have that many apps, i dont know anyone who has android with over 150 apps... I only have about 100

Personal evaluation after just switching from iPhone 3Gs to Desire S....Apple wins on:

1) the animation in the UI, specifically the motion of the window when you switch from portrait to landscape
2) more "legit" apps from reputable developers...(been waitng for Motion X GPS for exmple, on the Android... nothing comes close yet on the droid market)
3) battery cnsmption

Desire S (or Android) wins on:
1) customization ..definitely for the geeks
2) form factor
3) the unique HTC Sense
4) the micro SD
5) X factor...i dont know i jst liked the desire S ;-)
