"Stuck" drawer

It isn't really, but somehow something managed to get behind it and I don't know how to retrieve it. The drawer apparently does not come "loose". I am including photos in the hope that will help.

I'll be honest, without a larger view (the whole item of furniture) and an indication of what these close-ups are looking at the photos don't help me very much. Maybe with a description?

Can you tell whether it is stuck at the top or the bottom? Can you get at the obstruction some other way (e.g. take out the drawer above)? Can you slide anything into the gap and feel the blockage?

The drawer is not actually stuck, and it appears to be nonremovable. The problem is at least one object trapped behind it (the lower drawer). There's not much room in front of the two drawers. I've taken another photo which I hope will be more explanatory.

All drawers are removable. If it's the bottom drawer that will not open, removing the top drawer to eliminate the blocking item is your answer. If this is the case... a picture of the top drawer completely open from side should give me an idea what sort of hardware it has and how to release it so it can be fully removed from the cabinet.

I see of no way to free the stuck drawer without first gaining access to the inside of the cabinet beyond brute force. Removing the unstuck drawer or removing the back being the only options I can see for that access.

Actually, it's a microwave oven. It probably doesn't weigh that much. I'm not sure how to unplug it, though. The outlets are really weird and not many of them.

If only one drawer is stuck, open the one that isn't stuck. It should decrease the friction of the stuck drawer being as they are flush drawer fronts. If it just the drawer fronts restricting the drawer's operation this should give you enough wiggle room to break the stuck drawer free.

The cabinet in question is a less expensive piece that is likely constructed of a fiber material that is formica or vinyl clad. That material is very susceptible to swelling with moisture. Perhaps this is the culprit for the drawer being stuck. Being under the microwave it could be from a
spillage at some point. It might even be the victim of a spillage drying in the crack between cabinet and drawer front. An oil based lubricant might alleviate the problem.

There is always the chance that the drawer is stuck due to a hardware failure. I've never seen a drawer hardware fail to the point of zero travel but anything is possible.

That's not the problem. The drawers aren't actually stuck. What happened is that something(s) has/have fallen behind/under the bottom drawer and is/are trapped. I cannot get the item(s) out and I cannot remove the drawers to get at it/them. The drawers slide out at as far as the design allows, I guess.

They can be removed completely from the cabinet. I need a picture of the side of the drawer when it's open so that I can tell you how to release the stop so it can be removed. Once removed the item / items should be easily removed.

Okay, I'm coming in late, but it may come down to you removing everything off the unit, pull it from the wall and if you can't access the drawers from the back, then try laying the unit on the backside. This will allow the loose items in the cabinet to shift to the back, and perhaps you will be able to pull the drawer out some and free it.

At the intersection where one part of the slide goes into the other you should see a portion that can be depressed. Both sides will have to be depressed at the same time and then the drawer should slide on out. Your picture isn't clear enough to see the exact release but it exists.

It looks to me like you have the little plastic fingers sticking out between the two rails. Push one down and the other up to remove the drawer. You will have to figure out which one goes up and which one goes down, but that's pretty simple.
