Help Stuck in boot loop due to kitkat update?

So my dad's phone is stuck in a boot loop, his phone has never been rooted or modified at all, and assuming from the new splash screen at startup, i'm assuming that the kitkat update must have bricked his phone. Anybody else have problems with this update? Thanks in advance!

Contact boost and tell them the update bricked the phone, you should get a free warranty repair.
