Root Stuck in Bootloop for First Time.. Please Help

So I tried to SBF back to 340 with this file: : VRZ_MB810_2.3.34_1FF_01.zip, and the transfer said it completed in RSD lite (4.8). Then, it kept bootlooping. Tried to get back into clockwork but whenever I do, it just shows a screen that displays this:

Bootloader
30.04

Battery OK
OK to Program
Transfer Mode:
USB

So what do I do now? I have to try installing the file again? I tried it twice, the first time it didn't work, the second, it did, but it doesn't boot up.

And a question for future reference, why can't I just put the downloaded SBF file on the sd card, then install it from ROM manager? Do I NEED to use RSD lite in order to SBF? It seems like the same process as flashing roms, which would be a lot easier. Anyway thanks and please help as I have no phone :(

Does RSDlite say "please power up phone manually" or something like that. If so unplug from USB and pull battery and reboot?

So you mean by pressing power+camera+home? I was under the impression if I wiped data, I would have no OS? If that's not the case I'll try it.

The only way you will have no OS is if you wipe System. Also, don't wipe the Bootloader, or you will be screwed as well.

If wiping Data/Cache doesn't work, try sbf'ing again. You are at least able to get into Bootloader, that is a very good thing.

What you need to be careful of now is not to run your battery down too low, since you can't charge your battery in the state you are in now.

Ok, wiped data/cache and that fixed it.. I feel real stupid, that was way too easy :( Many thanks to both of you though!

Last question.. if I am going to install the 2 updates from the sticky, can I just put them on my SD card and install them from ROM manager? Or do I have to use RSD Lite

Follow ALL directions in the sticky for the rom you are trying to install. Most are installed through Clockwork Mod applied as "Select Zip File from SD Card".

They do now have a 2.3.340 sbf file that can be flashed like any other zip in clockwork. You need to have the team black hat app to get it though.
